Mumford & Sons - I Will Wait

1 Thesalonians 4:15-17 (MSG)

And then this: We can tell you with complete confidence—we have the Master’s word on it—that when the Master comes again to get us, those of us who

are still alive will not get a jump on the dead and leave them behind. In actual fact, they’ll be ahead of us. The Master himself will give the command. Archangel thunder! God’s trumpet blast! He’ll come down from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise—they’ll go first. Then the rest of us who are still alive at the time will be caught up with them into the clouds to meet the Master. Oh, we’ll be walking on air! And then there will be one huge family reunion with the Master. So reassure one another with these words.

Hearing songs that talk about the promise to wait for a loved one can have powerful and spiritual implications.

You know what I mean if you've had close family or someone dearly loved to pass away.
Scripture says that to know Christ as savior carries one of the most precious promises of all...eternal life. Death for a fellow believer is only a veiled seperation. The promise of a happy & eternal union in heaven can sustain you through the darkest valley.

You can say..."I'll wait for you." and you can recieve that promise as well.

You can't even imagine what God has in store for his children in glory.

The assurance of heaven can be yours today.

1 Thessalonians 2:19
For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?
John 1:12
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
