My take on it is this: Life's hard...BUT GOD IS GOOD
You can never get so low that the Lord cannot reach you. In fact...this is His specialty. The broken heart; the contrite and wounded heart; He never turns away from. He delights is giving the oil of gladness to those that mourn.
You may see no meaning in life, but you should try.
Perhaps now is the time for you to boldly approach the throne of Gods grace and ask for His help.
