15 When the angels
had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another,
“Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the
Lord has told us about.” 16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.
Isn't it amazing that their was no room for Mary, Joseph, and the babe Jesus in the Inn?
But...their was room in the hearts of the shepherds and their is still room in the hearts of countless sinners that find Him just as the angels have said.
The lack of proper lodging and the cold shoulder at the Inn is not the focus of the nativity story. The focal point is the wise men that sought Him; the shepherds that left rejoicing over what they had seen and heard; the angels proclaiming peace and good news to all people, a Savior has been born.
If you come to Him now, you will find Him just as the testimonies about Him have declared; loving, saving, redeeming, caring for you.
