Jeremiah 31:3 (CEB)
The Lord appeared to them from a distance:I have loved you with a love that lasts forever.And so with unfailing love,I have drawn you to myself.
What a powerful song loaded with emotions and feelings for love lost or missed opportunity.
There is one love that will never let you go.
This love of the Lord is unfailing and forever.
Frequently,
when we have wandered from God, the adversary, who is the father of
lies, will whisper to you that God no longer loves you. Sin will even
separate us from his love; oh...its not that He has changed, but you
have!! Persistent hardships...transgressions...and personal/spiritual
failure, over time, can erect a wall of separation between you and your
heavenly Father. You and I lay each stone in the wall that divides us
from his endearing....passionate love.
We notice a few warning signs of this along the way.
God is the Island...and we pass Him by. Deliberately?
Maybe...
....but often we're just too busy.
Come back to his warm embrace.
He is an island to discover
