For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
Chris Martin is famous for his cryptic messages...but there's no mystery here.
God has richly blessed us beyond what we deserve. Too often we think more of our ownselves as the source of our goodness and not from Him. All our gifts, blessing, and rewards are NOT of our achievements.
God has approved, authorized, and granted...every good thing we enjoy.
That's called Grace.
You and I are no different from the homeless person on the street.
What may be today....could all change tomorrow.
So what is the difference in you and the gal in jail or the dude under the bridge? Your guess is as good as mine.
The good things we enjoy are by His grace.
D.L. Moody coined the phrase that rings truer than ever, "We're it not for the Grace of God...there go I."
Thank God for all things; don't get out of touch with those who have less than you. Your judgment as to why is not for you to decide.
Just know that God Put A Smile Upon Your Face. Thank HIM !
