Colossians 3:14-16 (NIV)
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Its knowing where you stand; in Gods universal plan; that's the secret to a blessed peace of mind.
In London, my wife and I stood in front of Buckingham palace in complete awe. Our tour guide pointed out the flag flying high above the palace. He said that the royal colors are flown (this is pre 9/11) when the Queen is in the residence.
Peace is a flag that is flown in the heart that says the King is in residence there.
The peace that the Lord brings to our life is a contentment and assurance that our life and eternity is in His hands.
You can know His peace.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Come to Him. He loves you.
