Hosea 6:1
New Living Translation (NLT)
“Come, let us return to the Lord.
He has torn us to pieces;
now he will heal us.
He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds.
now he will heal us.
He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds.
Why do people hurt? Why is their sadness? What is the reason for peoples pain?
We hurt because...we're alive.
God gave us the preciousness of life. Along with it comes all the emotions and senses that allow us to feel; joy and pain; sadness and victory; laughter and sorrow.
God designed us. His ways are beyond understanding but their are a few things we know about the Lord and our hurt.
We are His creation. He understands our human experience...especially Christ Jesus.
He understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So
let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will
receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need. it
most Hebrews 4:16.
In Pain we Grow
On the mountain we rejoice...but in the valley we live, work, weep and GROW.
God created us to know hurt, but...it doesn't end there. He heals, binds us up, carries our sorrow. By Him, we are healed.
A star arose in my own cage
I'm stuck in line and in a cage
Just a single little star, I sing for
I ran away from you
