Romanza - Andrea Bocelli ( Live in Tuscany )

John 11:24-26

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
24 Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

In the English translation Bocelli is singing about two lives that are separated in death; a Romeo & Juliet kind of love where one doesn't care to exist without the other.

Its understandable how two lives can become one; in the loss of one, the remaining feels incomplete.

For two people to be equally yoked together means that both are children of God. God loves us so much that when we lose a loved one that belonged to Him we have the assurance of seeing them again.

Jesus proved this to Mary and Martha. They loved Lazarus too much to see him depart. Because of the resurrection power of the Lord Jesus Christ we experience only a momentary separation. In fact its not even a loss when we know Him as Savior.

Jesus raised Lazarus from the tomb and gave him back to his family. Death is swallowed up in victory when we know Christ as our Savior and Lord.

However, in the course of time Lazarus died again, but Jesus had made His point about the promise of eternal life and a heavenly reunion for all those that believed in His name.

In Gods love their is no fear. No anxiety of separation in Him, only a calm assurance that all who call upon His name will stand before Him on that day. One big happy family; and we will sing worthy is the lamb that was slain for our sins. Worthy to receive power, glory, honor, and majesty.
