3 John 1:11-14  

¹¹ Dear friend,^[g] do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God. ¹² Demetrius has a good testimony from everyone, and from the truth itself. And we also testify for him, and you know that our testimony is true.

¹³ I have many things to write you, but I don’t want to write to you with pen and ink. ¹⁴ I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to face.^[h]

Peace be with you. The friends send you greetings. Greet the friends by name.

Being separated from those we love is not easy. Maintaining a positive outlook and upbeat tone when talking to them can be a challenge. You kind of get the idea of the phrase, "In a bullet proof vest with the windows all closed."

Whether its through military service, divorce, empty nest, to name only a few, we find ourselves longing for those we love. Its important to never lose your trust or your faith when separation becomes a fact of life.

Though our relationships are geographical....God is not. He walks with those you love just as He walks with you. The intimacy we enjoy with our heavenly father can surround those we love. He knows no boundaries.

Believe that God is with them.
Don't lose your trust.....!
