Bronte - Gotye

2 Corinthians 5:7-9

King James Version (KJV)
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

We will be with you

When you're leaving
We will be with you
When you go
We will be with you
And hold you till you're quiet
It hurts to let you go

The apostle Paul went through an evolution of thinking:
He was wanting to stay and continue his work for the lord but he was willing to go if that is what God had planned...
Eventually he was wanting to go home with the Lord but was willing to stay.
Do you see the difference?

2 Corinthians 5:8-10

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

Regardless of what God had in store...he was confident that he would be with the Lord and eventually see those whom he served with the Lord also.

In Christ we always have a...Win/Win

Their is no LOSS...in the Lord of life.
We are more than conquerors through Him who loves us
