On Not Loving the World
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[a] is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.The world is comprised of a WHOLE bunch of folks that think like....you!
Can you imagine what this world would be like if everyone thought and acted like you?
Truth is...we are all sinners; driven by selfish motives; motivated by personal gain.
Through Christ we are rescued from....OURSELVES.
At times we all get it wrong at the same time. That tends to lead to bad policies, headlines, and records.
Where would we be today had it not been for our Savior Jesus Christ the Lord?
