Psalm 51:16-17
New International Version (NIV)
You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
My sacrifice, O God, is[a] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.
Our hearts can be easily shattered and torn to pieces by the harshness of life. From relationships to dreams; the moment we lay our hearts on the line, we risk having it broken.
God draws extremely near to us when we are broken.
It has been said that in our darkest valleys; God is working the hardest to do something extraordinary in our life.
He is touched by the feelings of our hardships and brokenness.
Allow the Lord to "Fix You".
