James Morrison - I Won't Let You Go

Isaiah 53:3-5

New International Version (NIV)
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

You will Enjoy this great hit by James Morrison.

The imagery of this song and what the Lord has done for us is powerful. He laid His life down for us.

The scripture says that He carried our sorrows; He bore our grief. Later on in this passage it says that the Lord Christ did something very remarkable...the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him.

In other words; the punishment for sin is death; Jesus Christ took our death upon Himself; dying in our place upon the cross.

When John the Baptist saw Jesus coming to him in the muddy Jordon he said, "behold the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world".

He loves you and me that much.
Reach out to Him. He is not far from you. He is as near as the mention of His name.
HE WONT LET YOU GO
