OneRepublic - All The Right Moves

Acts 18:23-25

New English Translation (NET)
23 After he spent some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.
24 Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, arrived in Ephesus. He was an eloquent speaker, well-versed in the scriptures.25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and with great enthusiasm he spoke and taught accurately the facts about Jesus, although he knew only the baptism of John.

Some people have all the right moves and say all the right words...but still be lacking.

Apollos was an eloquent man but he knew only of John the baptist and his teaching. He had not been taught about Jesus. When Paul educated him of the Christ, he was fit for service.

When I listen or read others I filter everything through Christ.
He is the way truth and life.

Make sure that any philosophy or theories you encounter is measured by the message of the word of God. Contradictions abound at every corner. Your yard stick for measuring TRUTH is and must remain His WORD.
