Us Against The World - Coldplay

1 Peter 5:8-11 Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You're not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It's the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does. (MSG)

The devil will get his due. His future is doomed...but for the moment he continues to reek havoc in the world.
According to scripture he is the prince and power of this world...but he's not the prince and power of you.

Satan is a formidable adversary. Even Jesus, in the "Lords Prayer", instructed us to pray for deliverance from evil. John 10:10 says that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He is the enemy of all things good and righteous. As a child of God, that would mean he is YOUR enemy.

Following the Lord Jesus leads to victory over Satan, sin, and self. Even the demons of hell are subject to Christ.  He has defeated all that stands against us...and has authority over every power; those seen and unseen. Only Christ Jesus can deliver or rescue us from evil.

We are no match for Satan's weaponry...but Satan is no match for our Savior. Jesus defeated the devil and will soon crush him beneath his feet.

James 4:7-8
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

Give it to your big brother...HE'S GOT YOUR BACK

Like a river to a raindrop,
I lost a friend.
My drunken has a Daniel in a lion's den.
And tonight I know it all has to begin again,
So whatever you do,
Don't let go.
