Yes. I’m full of
myself—after all, I’ve spent a long time in sin’s prison. What I don’t
understand about myself is that I decide one way, but then I act
another, doing things I absolutely despise. So if I can’t be trusted to
figure out what is best for myself and then do it, it becomes obvious
that God’s command is necessary.
Oh and I don't have a show to say,
Yes, and I sin every single day,
We never change, do we?
We never learned to leave.
So, I wanna live in a wooden house,
Making more friends would be easy,
I wanna live where the sun comes out.
Its true, the old nature of sin and self still lingers within us. Christ will cleanse our soul, redeem our spirit, but that ole cranky stubborn flesh has a mind of its own.
Did you notice the line, "Yes, I sin every single day."
The solution is not seclusion.......with a small handful of friends.
Its in walking close to the Savior who cleanses us of all our transgressions.

If we claim
that we’re free of sin, we’re only fooling ourselves. A claim like that
is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins—make a clean
breast of them—he won’t let us down; he’ll be true to himself. He’ll
forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing.
