Politik - Coldplay

1 Peter 2:16-17 New International Version 1984 Live as free men, but do not use  your freedom as a cover-up for  evil; live as servants of God. 17 Show proper respect to  everyone: Love the brotherhood  of believers, fear God, honor the king When Coldplay opens with "Politik", the first 5 minutes of the concert is amazing.  I'm not sure of the meaning behind the lyrics but you can't miss the  politics implied. "everyone must find a place, give me real don't give me fake" When it comes down to politics very few agree on everything.  Differences in opinion can sometimes get heated. Hey...let me tell  you a little secret ...if you don't like being challenged, you may want to keep it to yourself.   You can disagree-without disrespect.  Peter knew the importance of the early church witness... to be God fearing...and to be noble citizens as well.  Personally, I refrain from speaking any disrespect  toward elected leaders, even if I disagree with them.
