5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying:
6 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:
“Praise our God,
all you his servants,
you who fear him,
both small and great!”
all you his servants,
you who fear him,
both small and great!”
“Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
Hallelujah is a word that is universally the same in every language. I've been in the Philippines and could not understand a syllable....until I said, "Hallelujah" and all the people responded with Hallelujah.
In Brazil, the Portuguese language is beautiful but I rarely knew a word until someone said, Hallelujah".
Isn't that amazing. How did God do that....?
Hallelujah means; "Praise Jehovah". The word is spelled to characterize praise to Yah or Jah; the first syllables of Yahweh Jehovah; two names for God.
He is unavoidable...in every land, among every tribe, in every tongue.
You cant speak French? But you can say with them..."Hallelujah, Praise the LORD"
