Psalm 40 I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
and put their trust in the Lord.
Waiting for someone, that is long overdue, is frustrating. Especially when you have unfinished business; things to get off your chest; confessions to make.
Sitting tight when God seems to be silent can be unnerving. These times can drive you to your knees in prayer. In our impatience, we often miss the best things.
God intends to slow you down. The best is in the small, still, quiet things.
He wants to show you things that you have blown past many times before.
Don't be lost - wait.....He will show you something new.
BTW...look for something today that is blooming
